Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) / Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued an Security Assistant SA / Motor Transport (MT) and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Examination Post Notification 2023. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released the detailed notification pdf announcing 677 vacancies of Security Assistant/MT and MTS (General) posts. The Intelligence Bureau under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has made the official announcement regarding the recruitment drive for Security Assistant (SA) – Motor Transport (Driver) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) 677 positions. Selection Process

The candidates who all will apply for the IB Recruitment 2023 must be aware of the Selection process of the IB. Candidates who will qualify all the stages of selection process will get shortlisted for the final merit. The Selection Process for MHA IB Security Assistant (SA) and MTS Recruitment 2023 consists of the following phases:

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the IB Recruitment, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the Commission.  The eligibility criteria are as follows-

 

Age

The Age Limit of IB Recruitment Vacancy 2023 is 18 - 27 Years. The Age Relaxation will be given as per government rules. For Security Assistant/Executive post, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years. On the other hand, the upper age limit is capped at 25 years for Multitasking Staff (MTS).

 

Qualification

Candidate must have passed the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation / 10th  or equivalent examination) from a recognised board to fulfil the IB Recruitment Qualification criteria. Details of this requirements are as follows -

IB Security Assistant and MTS Exam Pattern 2023 -IB written examination consists of Objective multiple-choice questions. IB Questions paper is divided into 5 parts containing a total of 100 questions. The IB written exam consists of General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English and General Studies. Each section in the exam is of 20 marks. The duration of the IB written exam is 1 hour.

Tier 1

  • India and its neighboring countries: History of neighboring countries, History of India, Culture, Geography, Economic scenario, Freedom Movement, Main features of Indian agriculture and natural resources, Constitution and polity of India, Political system of the country, Panchayati Raj, Community development etc.
  • General Science: Physics (Basic principles, Forces and motion, Energy and its forms), Chemistry (Elements and compounds, Chemical reactions, Acids and bases), Biology Cell, Human physiology, Ecology and environment), Geography.
  • Mathematics : In this section, questions can be asked from the following subjects of matric level (10th level). It includes various mathematical concepts and applications that is- Basic Numerical Efficiency, Number System , Calculating Whole Numbers , Decimals And Fractions, HCF LCM (Highest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple) , Percent, Ratio And Proportion and Relationship Between Numbers average, interest and profit and loss.

Tier 2

The candidates qualifying in the Tier-1 exam will have to appear for Tier-2 Exam which is further divided into 2 parts.

  • Part 1 (Common for all candidates)- Translation of a passage of 500 words from the local language/dialect to English and vice versa. This offline descriptive test will be of 40 marks and the duration for the exam will be 1 hour.
  • Part 2 (Only for SA/Exe.)- Spoken ability [to be assessed at the time of Tier-III exam (Interview/ Personality test)

The Tier-II exam is qualifying in nature. The qualifying marks in Tier-2 is 20 out of 50 for SA/Exe and 16 out of 40 for MTS/Gen.

Tier 3 (Interview)

The candidates who qualify in Tier 1 & Tier 2 exams will be called for an interview round which will be conducted by the Intelligence Bureau for 50 marks.
